Most of us decided to try out the skiing. It was reported to be a small hill with temperatures a bit on the warm side. We were really surprised. The first indication that it was going to be more than meets the eye is the fact the Italian race team was training there. After we got fitted with equipment and lift tickets we split into two groups and hit the slopes.

Wow! They had a number of quads as well as some t-bars. The slopes were wide open and very skiable. It was by no means a small hill. And to top it off, there was a fresh dusting of powder. We couldn't get enough and we all skied until the lifts closed and we had to catch our bus. What an awesome day we had! And we did ski the "End of the World."
