We woke to mostly clear skies and hoped it would be a good day skiing. We figured there would be a fair dusty of new snow on the mountain. We arrived early, grabbed our skis, caught the six-pack only to discovered that nothing else was operating. It took a while before other lifts opened, but it was well worth the wait. The snow was awesome and the views spectacular.
Our last dinner at the Hotel Edelweiss was a gala event. Damian made a map of the Argentina wine country for us so we could see where all the wines we had been drinking came from. As usual, the wine was paired perfectly to the food. We met the chef and thanked him for a wonderful week and presented the staff with a hefty tip. The hotel then treated us to a round of Argentina Sparkling Wine. A fitting end to an awesome week. |
