We flew out of Los Angeles yesterday on a very old LAN aircraft and were treated to a surprise stop in Lima. We arrived in Santiago, Chile on time and connected with our flight to Buenos Aires. It was a very long day that got even longer when we landed. We were met by Ramona, a very good tour guide. She took us to the center of town, Boca Roca, along the river and to the north. She gave us plenty of ideas as to how to spend our free day in Buenos Aries. After our tour, everyone went off in search of food (most restaurants do not open until 9 or 10 PM) and an early evening. |
