We left from LA, San Diego and Eugene to meet up in Salt Lake City where we boarded Delta's Sky West to Cranbrook. We started our adventure with a stop at a grocery store before heading to Golden. The views along the Powder Highway are breathtaking. Unfortunately, the photo shots we grabbed through our car windows while speeding along the highway doesn't do the views justice. But still you can get a sense of it. We rented two vans. Gene drove the guys and Elissa. Catherine & JoAnn were in the other van with all the luggage and skis. We hit small amounts of rain, sleet and snow.
