We held our 7th annual Jimmie Heuga Wine Maker Dinner on Saturday, September 30, 2007. It was our best fund raiser yet. The total raised from this dinner for The Heuga Center for MS was $2,285.
We’ve had a wonderful time with great people, fabulous wines and way too much food. 25 people attended and the dinner went on for almost seven hours. Check out the Menu.
We could not have hosted this event without the fabulous donations of wine, the help of our Executive Chef, and the very generous donations of the participants and supporters. You can download the Dinner Program [1.1 MB] for all the details including the wine makers' notes.
The wine that was donated this year was outstanding and each was perfectly paired with one course. As in the past, the following wineries have generously donated some wonderful wines. Heck Estates, Rémy Cointreau, EOS Estate Winery have donated wines just about every year. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
In addition, water was donated by Fiji Water.
While our Executive Chef Mary Trimmins was unable to attend, she helped Gene with the menu, provided recipes and lent us moral support. Mary plans to join us next year.
