This subject directory brings together the websites which will assist the serious sports researcher, kinesiology librarian, sport information specialist, college/university student and faculty. The directory was created under the auspices of the University of Calgary Library, the North American Sport Library Network (NASLIN) and the International Association for Sports Information (IASI) by Gretchen Ghent (gghent@ucalgary.ca), Librarian Emeritus.

SIRCs SPORTQuest Index

SIRC is the world's leading bibliographic database producer of sport, fitness, and sports medicine information. For more than 27 years, SIRC has been identifying, organizing and communicating sport and fitness information and providing it through a variety of products and services.

Subscribers range from universities, libraries and hospitals, to coaches, athletes, professors and medical practioners worldwide.

Comprehensive index to just about anything related to sports and recreation with links to over 50,000 websites.

The California Ski Library is home to an extensive collection of books, magazines, photographs, scrapbooks, oral history interviews, posters, brochures, catalogs, movies, and videotapes.

The Library's mission is to:

• Acquire historically significant material pertaining to skiing in the U.S., especially the west.
• Process, preserve, and catalog the materials.
• Provide public access to researchers, journalists, students, and others interested in skiing history.
