History of Elk Meadows, Utah
(now known as Eagle Point)

Elk Meadows Resort originally opened in 1972, and was called Mount Holly Resort. A lot has changed at the resort since 1972, especially in the last two years. The new owners of Elk Meadows have invested millions in improvements.

The resort added a base area lodge called the West Village Lodge, which includes a general store and pro shop, and meeting space for groups of up to 100. It also has a cafeteria and a restaurant. A quad lift replaces the surface lift to better access the MT. Holly side of the resort, offering many acres of intermediate and advanced terrain. Also, the resort's T-bar was replaced with a double chairlift to provide better access to the base lodge and several condominium properties.

In 2007, Elk Meadows Resort has been closed. It hopes to reopen soon as a private resort called Mt. Holly Club.

In 2010, Elk Meadows reopened as Eagle Point. A beautiful restaurant was installed and they have been making improvements every year.
